What do we need to bring?
Everything necessary for fishing and having a fun time is onboard. Please note that if you decide on a Fish & Swim Trip, no towels are provided. Also, we highly recommend to bring sunblock and a hat.
Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit, but we have taken kids from as young as 3 years fishing inshore. We believe that to be on okay starting age for a fishing trip. Babies are welcome for Coastal Cruises.
How rough is the sea?
Deep sea trips can get bumpy and windy, but it is always safe with our trained team. Inshore trips can be noticeably calmer even when the sea and winds are high.
What if it’s raining?
We still go fishing if its raining. The cabin provides a nice and comfortable air-conditioned setting for the passing showers.
Can the departing time be changed?
Yes, we can adjust our departure time to accommodate your needs. If you are a Cruise Ship passenger, make sure to let us know and we will operate within your availability.
Do we get to keep what we catch?
Barbados ‘Fish Policy’ is different from many other fishing destinations. On our Sport Fishing Charters, the catch belongs to the boat – the owner – to guide, and advise the crew to distribute. Typically we will filet a portion of the day’s catch for all participants. The amount provided is largely based on the quantity of the fish caught that day. Our focus is to ensure our guest receive at least enough cleaned fish to take home for a meal. On large loads of catch, our team will clean at least 20% of the catch for you to take and store, if desired. We do not ship fish.
What are the options for food and snacks?
We have an assortment of breakfast bars and chips at all times. For trips 6 hours or more, we supply chicken and fish wraps. You can also expect to make a fish sandwich onboard our BBQ Your Catch Trips.
What drinks can I expect to be onboard?
The vessel will be packed and ready with water, soft drinks, beers and rum.
Do we have to bring ice?
The vessel will have a cooler and freezer onboard with ice.
is there a shuttle/TAXI service?
Shuttle/Taxi services can be arranged but at an additional cost.. When booking a trip with us, please indicate/notify us if you would like to arrange a shuttle/taxi service.
What is the cancellation policy?
If the customer cancels their booking or changes dates for any reason up to 7 days before the trip date, we will refund the deposit.
If the trip is cancelled with less than 7 days notice (for reasons excluding storms/unsafe weather conditions), the full deposit will be held.
